Dream Killers . . .

We all have them. Dream killers. Things that prevent us from following through on our biggest dreams and aspirations.
They are also the physical road blocks to the path's of success.  Something we do not realize until it is moments too late is our purpose in life. Many of us do not get to live out our personal mission in life. I want to save the world. I know, that seems a bit ambitious. But THAT is what I really yearn to do in life. Inspire others to do good. We have to do things purposely to set positivity in motion. "A pay it forward" attitude.

Sitting here studying, with a baby yammering in the back ground, Battlefield 4 on the Bravia, and 3 man-children running around causing chaos in my living room. For the FIRST time in 3 years I have my creative juices flowing. I have not been able to write a lick worth reading unless it was technical work for my job at the call center. I am extremely elated since I enrolled back into school. I am ashamed that I was so complacent with my job that I did not return to school sooner. My major will be psychology, a interest lovechild bore to creative writing and social work and sister to education, history and ELA. The work I did prior to enrolling at this online university transferred over wonderfully so I have roughly 2 years to go. Those ares some accomplishments for me. Writer's blocked, my ultimate DREAM KILLER was cured and I am on the path towards a career that will help mold the future.

I write this because I was inspired today by one of my favorite Kanye West quote. Isn't he one cocky ass muthafucka? We all love to hate on him but he still is arrogant. He swears he is GOD. Self proclaimed messiah to Rap. Personally, I think he is a genius. Kanye does as he says, he could either chose to allow the hater's opinion of him bring him down, or he could be confidant in all of what he does as a positive force to continue to motivate him to accomplish his dreams.

With that being said: "What would Yeezy do?"
