About

I thrive off of learning and self improvement. I am a sarcastic, entertaining, intelligent, talented, conflicted, emotionally volatile ex-blogger, ex-makeup artist, aspiring educator who wants to head her own non profit one day. But before I do all of that I just want to be happy.

Who is Pink Monkey????

A Journalist…Nightlife Enthusiast…Blogger….Mother…Philanthropist… FUTURE MEDIA MAVEN!

Growing up in the Riverdale section of the Bronx know it wasn’t white picket fences and dandelions for Pink who was a foster child. While others her age were concerned about the latest trends and buying the newest pair of Jordan’s or Uptowns, she was worried and working on getting the bare essentials, toiletries, and RESPECT. It was through those character building experiences that a go-getter was born.

Even through her own adversity, Pink kept a servant heart growing up she wanted to be a social worker so she could be a savior to teenagers and give them guidance so that they can be properly informed on what was really going on. While her industry may have changed, the mission to educate the masses remains the same.

As with most the road to self discovery is not easy and paved in gold. It can be painful and disturbing, but once you make up your mind its rewarding. Through the years, Pink dealt with opportunistic “friends,” situations that questioned her character, as well as the everlasting double standards with living in a “man’s world.” Those things made her stronger as well as presented a clearer definition to who she was and what she wanted to accomplish. “I have always said what came to mind and I have been regarded as a ‘loose cannon.’ Sometimes my mouth dug hole for me, however I always overcame it and disregarded others perceptions.”

With a love for so many things, the decision of what to do became tough. Journalism? Media? Fashion? Philanthropy? Tired of trying to decide which road to take, what her niche would be, and how she would make it to the top, Pink decided to do it all. With her son Christopher as a driving source for inspiration she is claiming victory and taking no losses. Being both prideful and mindful of who she is and what she has overcome it’s about her time. “I’m a work in progress. I’m far from perfect; my flaws make me unique and who I am. One thing I am not afraid to be is ME.”

Being influenced by the entrepreneurial drive of some of New York City’s Entertainment and Media heavy hitters and her goals clearly defined, Pink is ready to take the world by storm one outlet at a time. Between television, Radio, and the national expansion of www.mypinkmonkey.com, plus more genius moves under her sleeve the world better watch out:
BECAUSE IT’S ALL FUN AND GAMES UNTIL THE PINK MONKEY COMES OUT!
